Privacy Policy

Slidepad is a floating pad let you pin any frequently used web apps and access them easily, and since it shares a similar function as a browser, your data is very important to us!

1. General Information

The Slidepad website and the Slidepad application are owned by Potter Dai, who is located in Montreal, Canada. I do not sell or give away any personal information to others and thus your data will not be disclosed to any third party unless you have consented explicitly to such disclosure (i.e., my newsletter), or where there is a legal requirement for this to happen. I am not interested in users’ data, personal or otherwise. All I’m interested in is creating great, convenient software and supporting users who use it.

2. Your Data

Slidepad does not send, nor store any of your data to the cloud. All your login credentials, browsing histories, etc. are being stored on your local devices and can be cleared through “Reset Slidepad" button in “Preferences” menu, – like when you’re using a web browser like Safari or Chrome.

3. Cookies & Third Party Services

In order to provide certain features, we rely on cookies and 3rd party services.

Cookies

We use cookies to ensure you get the best experience on our website. For example, cookies help us check if you're already logged in, or if you're coming from an email invitation - or to make sure we don't bug you with our cookie banner every single time you revisit our website. Your IP address is anonymized and we don't store any personal data.

AppCenter

We do not track how you interact with any of the provided services. However, in order to build a better image of how our users are interacting with Slidepad, we use Microsoft’s AppCenter to log the performance of the Slidepad, and how often people interact with Slidepad. We do not transmit any personal data to Google.

Paddle

In order to purchase Slidepad, your email address will be required to send you the license code. This is done by Paddle, a third party payment provider. Details about how Paddle handles and secures your data can be found in the Paddle Privacy Policy.

4. GDPR

Slidepad itself does not send nor store any personal data to the cloud. For third-party services, both AppCenter and Paddle are GDPR ready.
